Growing up in a household where records by B.B. King stood next to those by The Dubliners, Deep Purple, Hannes Wader and Vivaldi, I started learning the violin at the age of 6.

Since I also wanted to accompany myself while singing, I taught myself to play the mandolin, but that wasn’t all. At 15, I began taking guitar lessons, both acoustic and electric. By now I play a variety of string instruments, including violin, guitar, mandolin, bouzouki and waldzither. I’m fascinated by the diversity of music!

I wrote my first song at 15. My subjects are the things that occupy my mind, ranging from personal experiences and feelings to political and social conflicts and issues.

Musically, I like to experiment; most of my English and German songs sit somewhere between folk, Americana, rock, blues and singer-songwriter.

I love sharing my music and am happy when people enjoy it and perhaps even feel moved to dance or reflect. To me, music is more than just a consumer good. Music connects and transforms; music is communication.

My debut album “Homeland” was released on August 15, 2025.

Since March 2025, I have been performing with my band “Finn’s Fighting Frogs.” With them, we have already opened for bands such as Cara and placed third at the Dieter Wasilke Folk Award.

Beyond that, I also enjoy contributing to other projects, such as a Leonard Cohen tribute in the past, or, in 2026, as part of the Youth Folk Orchestra at the Rudolstadt Festival, which I am especially proud of.
